I keep seeing all these videos for “the easiest way to fold fitted sheets.” Um, ok. Except the videos are like 5 or 6 minutes long. Seriously? 5 or 6 minutes to fold one sheet? I did actually watch one. It was kind of funny, but after a typical day in my house(4 hours home school, 5 errands, 3 hours in traffic, most of it with the kiddo, make dinner, write a blog, consider working on my own novel, exhaustedly fall into bed with a book for review), five minutes to fold one sheet is crazy.
So to save you all some trauma and time, here is my method for folding a fitted sheet.
Grab a corner, check for the pillow case that will be hiding inside.
Repeat will the other three corners.
You should now have four corners in one hand.
Use your other hand to grab all the rest of the hanging material, fold it towards the hand with the corners, place on a shelf.
Bam, 16 seconds. Beat my record, I dare you.
PS. Points will be deducted if you miss one of the pillowcases in the corners.

Dont fold, take from line to bed body heat will do the rest. We wont be remembered for the crinkleless sheets.

Yes! The few weeks they get is glorious, but snow higher than me! Then mud season as it melts on the green mountains. Been there done that loved it but living it is something else.

Grab two corners by the end dimple of the tuck. Let the bent down edge of sheet lie inwards. Think to yourself, “Wow. I’m so cool. I’ve really got this! I’m one of those mysterious people who can fold fitted sheets. I’ll have my friend ______ come over and while visiting I’ll just casually pull out my laundry. I’ll fold this fitted sheet in front of my friend and they’ll be like, ‘Gasp! I’ve never been able to do that! How did you…?’ I’ll be smug, and amazing and I’ll…” Then realize that although the first two corners laid flat, the other side is billowed out like a sail, which won’t fold IN. Patience lost you wad, I mean fold the rest moving the side lump so it appears to be a tidy square on the shelf. You’ve lost… nothing much after all. Just a dream and some dignity like all writers!
